PO 1: To enhance knowledge in the area of applied science and mathematics with a well-balanced preparation in engineering fundamentals and practical applications.
PO 2: To identify, analyze and design complex engineering problems.
PO 3: An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.

PEO1: Graduates will achieve a high level of technical expertise in the subjects related to Environmental Engineering and also good in communication skills that help them to achieve and succeed in various positions.
The department of Civil Engineering was started in 1945 for Under Graduate Course and extended for M.E. Programme in Environmental Engineering in 1981. The Department has qualified faculty members with excellent academic records, well equipped laboratory facilities and computational facilities. The department provides opportunity for various research purposes in the field of waste management, wastewater treatment, water and air quality management.
