CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE-ALTERNATE ENERGY RESEARCH (CoE-AER)

To enhance Research, Development and Innovation in academic institutions, MHRD is competitively funding 30 Centres of Excellence for world-class research in thematic areas under TEQIP-II, a World Bank funded Project. The department has established Centre of Excellence for Alternate Energy Research under TEQIP phase II with fund of Rs.5 crores and TEQIP phase III with fund of Rs.1.5 crores.

The thematic area of research includes Wind and Solar Energy and the state-of-the-art equipment were procured. The equipment is effectively utilized for research, development, testing, and consultancy works.
