About the Library
The library boasts excellent facilities serving as a place for quiet reading, group collaboration, individual research, and recreational reading. It is an essential component of the institute's research and education mission. This modern central library holds over one lakh documents, including technical books, reports, standards, and back volumes of journals. Each department also has its own library. A state-of-the-art digital library benefits students immensely.
The Library transactions are carried out by Bar code Technology. It has facility of Web OPAC-online search, so the library catalogue can be accessed through intranet, in future through internet. And the library has subscribed to online Journal and E-resources.
Government College of Technology is registered as a NDLI Club under National Digital Library of India. (Register number: INTNNC3TPIGQV74, Date of Registration: 27/03/2021, Valid Upto: 15/08/2022)
